Choosing the right walk-in tub can be a complicated process and requires industry knowledge. Here are some helpful tips when choosing your walk-in tub below. We strongly recommend calling us at 1-800-480-6850 for help selecting the right option for you.

Installation process and involved factors!

Our tub is designed to make installation as pain free as possible. Our tubs are designed, width-wise, to fit through most standard doorways. The unit will arrive completely pre-plumbed. No under-the-floor work, drain modification or floor support is necessary. All hoses and water lines are included and attached out of the box. However, every installation is unique and requires careful consideration of all factors! We always recommend an inspection and quote on installation before the work is done.

Check the width of the door to make sure it can accommodate the person entering the tub. Make sure the bathtub module will fit through your doorway without a big renovation. In most cases, the door frames can be removed to provide an additional 2-3 inches on either side of a doorway and easily put back on. To choose your walk-in tub you must consider:

  1. The layout of your bathroom.
  2. The width of the doors in the home.
  3. The floors finish (concrete or wood) and drain location.
  4. The location of the bathtub or shower fixtures.
  5. The size of the person using the walk in tub.
  6. The window above the existing bathroom or shower if any.
  7. Condo association permits.
